Having read Paul Zecos' other works including "The Book of Life" and "Resurrect and Restore", I feel "The Delieverance" is an accurate and clear summary of his philosophies. Extreme times will often bring out strong opinions from writers and authors, and "The Deliverance" is no exception to this. Political correctness in Paul's writing is often thrown aside in order to get to the heart of the issues that continuously seem to affect modern society.In "The Deliverance" Paul Zecos starts off his book by naming the first chapter "What do you want?". The chapter is an introduction to the book and attempts to logically determine the common desires shared by all of humanity, and how these desires shape and influence the formation of our societies, governments, and the actions performed in our daily lives. In chapter three: "How the world has been ruled". Zecos explains the systems that have inevitably been created by humanity as a result of our desires as a species.One of the interesting themes expressed in "The Deliverance", is how our current systems are setup in a way that leads us away from goodness and God. Mr. Zecos offers new systems and ideas that could be implemented for the betterment of society. These ideas are very interesting and and are presented in a very logical way - offering modern perspectives that will definitely make for some interesting reading that may challenge your previous philosophical beliefs.

How mankind has gone astray from pursuing the true logic for our existence due to personal greed and underlying evil as well as the entity behind all the bad in the world. Why we as humans are stubbornly opposed to the existence of a naturally occurring good spirit and why this is not the right way to go. How we must live in these trying times and why there is still hope for good triumphing over evil.Historical Context:A popular rock band recently stated in one of their songs that the worst things in the world are justified by belief. The best things in the world are also justified by belief. Love, kindness, friendship, sincerity, trust and loyalty are some of the inherent good we humans can evoke without trying just as we can also be wicked and greedy owing to very cogent reasons. In DELIVERANCE, Author Zecos tries to explain why we tend to be greedy, wicked beings more often than not, and why this was never the soul intent of our existence.Book Cover and Interior Design:The cover is a simple one with a lady holding a cup, but the contents of this book is not as simple as its cover, believe me. However I feel the interior formatting could get better with a little more work.Writing Style:Now we get to the crux of the matter, or the cross of the matter, actually. In his books opening pages, Paul explains certain phenomena governing our existence with a simple cross. Physics, chemistry, biology, religion, politics, philosophy and what have you all can be explained with this cross. He delves further into the need to balance the entities around this cross in order for us to escape the ensnaring hardship imbalance can bring to us in life. More explanations follow but the depth of this book is outstanding despite the grammatical errors this reviewer felt it could do without.My Thoughts:Thought provoking wealth of ideas.
