Charles B. Simmons is the Senior Minister of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, a large, vibrant congregation in Houston, Texas. He is known nationally as a dynamic preacher, dedicated pastor and a leader among Methodists. A native of Louisiana and graduate of Centenary College, Chuck earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Emory University, plus Certificat at the Institut Ecumenique, University of Geneva, Switzerland. He has chaired UMC governance groups for the Louisiana and Texas Conferences and served as an elected representative to General and Jurisdictional gatherings. He is a trustee of Centenary College, Houston Methodist Hospital West and numerous local non-profit boards. He is married to the former Carol Hanna and is the father of two adult sons, plus a proud "papa" for two fabulous grandchildren. He goes fishing whenever he can.

" This book is an excellent guide to living faithfully along the way By Daniel Irving I was waiting for Dr. Simmons to write a book, and I'm so thankful that he took his time in writing this one. Life In The Muddle grasps at the truth of where we all live as Christians. Life is not black and white and life as a disciple is filled with grey and "between-spaces." This book is an excellent guide to living faithfully along the way. I highly recommend it.

An extremely well written and easy book to read, it is packed with helpful guidance for maintaining a meaningful relationship with Christ in our ever changing world. This book has a message that applies to readers of all ages, and every home should have a copy.
