About the Author Colette R. Harrell is a wife, mother, author, poet, songwriter, and playwright. She holds a master's degree in science and is in senior management at a non-profit agency. She is co-owner of COJACK Productions, a Christian entertainment company. As an active member of her church, she oversees the drama ministry, as well as being an intercessor and in women's leadership. She is a motivational speaker and has taught numerous workshops on a national level. A Detroit native, she currently resides in Ohio.

As much as I enjoyed the first novel boy oh boy! The plot thickens. Funny, thrilling and such a blessing this book had more layers than an onion. I loved it from start to finish. Hard hitting subjects and characters true to form! It was well written and well received from this reader!!!! MORE MORE MORE FROM THIS AUTHOR!!!

The members of Love Zion Church are not immune to the trials of life. In this sequel to The devil made me do it Esther, Briggs, Roger and Monica all face circumstances that cause them to falter or question their faith. These characters aren't immune to the trials of life. Some trials are even repeated again and again until the lesson is learned. Tell the truth the devil can be described as a series of mini-sermons. As I read, I recognized some of the thoughts and actions of the characters as mirrors of my own and I was convicted. We are reminded once again of how the spirit world is constantly in a battle over our souls. The knowledge that there are both demons and angels assigned to us is both encouraging and frightening. The good news is that the battle is not ours. It has been a while since a book has moved me to feel the full spectrum of my emotions- I laughed & I cried, I loved some characters and despised others as I cheered them all on to victory. I am so grateful that Mrs. Harrell has written this riveting tale and I look forward to reading more from this brilliant author.

Yet again she has filled fictional story lines with sound Biblical truths while captivating, entertaining and opening the eyes of the reader. Throughout, this author demonstrates how small details within our lives have a magnified effect on our future behaviors and decisions. She craftily and seamlessly illuminates the phrase "The Devil is in the Details". Both books in this series are two of my favorite books to date and are definitely must reads!
