2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. What are the answers? By go vegan After reading the table of contents, I really looked forward to this book. I love stuff like this. But too many of the chapters don't give you the answer - it's just lot of words saying nothing. Big disappointment.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Not what I expected By Gene I was greatly disappointed in this volume. I was expecting a reasonably comprehensive and scholarly discussion of current understanding of body and mind, but rather this is a series of short essays by individual experts to posed questions on selected aspect of the general topic. In the future I'll pay closer attention to the subtitle "Ask the Experts."

Kimball I have read a number of these Scientific American books that are a compilation of previous articles from the magazine. For interesting and thought provoking reading on a variety of subjects these books are a good deal for the price. I will no doubt be getting more.
